Hi Everybody,
Well, the countdown is on. And luckily an unexpected race popped up. Tomorrow night MIR will be having a qualifier for Cornwall. So, we decided to go.
If you plan on going to MIR tomorrow night, please note that the bridge back to Cornwall will be closed for maintenance after midnight. They were nice enough to extend the closure from 11pm to midnight to accommodate the race. And MIR has announced that the races will be starting at 6pm to try to get it all in so we can make it back to Canada before they close the bridge for the night.
If not, we’re not too worried, we can always drive down to Ogdensburg-Prescott and cross there. It might be a little slower route, but it will still get us home.
After this week there’s only one other race that we may attend. And that’s BOS next weekend. That will all depend on how this week goes, and the weather. We won’t have a full pit crew for BOS but back in the day it was just Bruce and I and well…we made it work. If you want to volunteer your services for next weekend, I’d love to hear from you 😉
I will post an update next week sometime as to how this week went. So, stay tuned.
Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe,
Lynda
