Bruce (racing 2003-present)
After five years of racing Thunder Cars (stock cars) on asphalt, in 2009 Bruce decided to go DIRT racing in the DIRT Sportsman Series.
After racing at a few different tracks in the area in the Sportsman Series, Bruce has decided to up the game. At the end of 2019 Season we decided to purchase a 358 motor and move up to the 358 Modified Class. Yes, after all these years a Makinson is going to be back in a Mod!
Bruce will be retiring from racing in the next couple of years so if you're interested in seeing a Makinson on track....time is running out!

Roy
Also known as Rapid Roy Makinson. Roy started racing when he was 16 years old. After a lengthy career and many wins he hung up his helmet and turned over the steering wheel to his second son, Bobby.

Bobby
Bobby is Bruce's big brother. Bobby took over the family race car after his father, Roy, retired.
He has since retired and has been crew chief for Bruce in the DIRT Sportsman and now 358 Modified Series.
