Hi Everybody,
Guess what?!?!? Come on you can guess!!
Yeah, it's rained out again. Mother nature is sure not happy with MIR or racing in general this year. Not many tracks are getting a full schedule in. At least we won't be complaining about hot dry conditions.
Hey, it is what it is and maybe the race Gods want us to take it easy this year.
Well, it's Canada Day this weekend so I hope everyone has a great and safe Canada Day.
HAPPY 150th CANADA!! I love being Canadian and I'm not afraid to say it.

Hi Everybody,
Well, another rainy Friday. The track hasn’t made a decision yet but our truck has. Again, it’s experiencing mechanical difficulties.
If today was rained out we had hoped to go to Can-Am tomorrow but they’re closed this weekend for graduation weekend. And Sunday isn’t looking too promising right now either.
For whatever reason, we are not meant to race much this year. I think Bruce has only been on the track twice this season. Maybe it’s the race Gods telling us to save money for the race at Charlotte?!?!? Just sayin’…
Anyways, we aren’t racing this weekend…again.

Hi Everybody,
Just a quick update. This past Friday we did not race due to weather conditions; races were cancelled.
Its been 4 weeks since Bruce last raced. I have to say he’s getting restless about it. So far this coming Friday isn’t looking much better. The weather people can’t predict today's weather accurately but they seem to be good at the long range. Let’s hope we get to race this coming Friday.
If not, we have an alternative plan. Depending on the weather for the weekend, if we do not race Friday we may race either Saturday night or Sunday. This will be a play it by ear thing so I may not get the news out before hand but I will update you on Monday to let you know if and where we raced.

June 9, 2017 - UPDATE
Hi Everybody,
UPDATE - we are NOT racing tonight.
Reason: gates opened at noon, 2 classes of Sprint cars, and pit entrance fee.
After a brief team meeting, we decided we can't leave early enough to get a decent pit spot. We don't really watch other classes race and we really don't like having to pay the higher pit fee to not watch them race. Not all teams but many teams pay for the other entertainment but don't get an opportunity or have a desire to watch the races which they paid for.
I know the track has to pay for them to be there but we at this time are not able/willing to pay the piper. So far this year our expenses for racing have been high and we haven't raced many nights yet. It's best we choose our nights carefully. (and most of you know how frugal I am...lol)
Sorry to anyone that was looking forward to seeing Bruce there. Hopefully, we can have a normal good night of racing next week.
I do miss our MIR family, hope to see you all next week. Maybe we're just getting old and cranky but it's not for us this week.
I raise a pint to those racing at MIR tonight, may you have a great night and be safe.

We’re finally back together. We have a race car and a truck to tow it. So, we are going racing tonight.
The weather looks a bit unsure at times but so far looks like everything is a go.

Hi Everybody,
Good news and bad news.
This Friday the weather should be good for racing but not for us. The car is mostly back together but we have no tow vehicle as our truck is in for repairs and most likely will not be ready for Friday’s race.
With the rain and our start to the year we need to regroup and get our ducks lined up. The little buggers better fly harder next week or else!
So, we will not be racing until next week, June 9th.
I hope it’s a clear and safe night for those who make it to MIR this week.
